GentleReminders, as the name suggests, aims to target the daily Gentle Reminders students get in their inboxes that leads to a lot of clutter. Making their life difficult and makes it hard for them to keep track of important events and also results in loss of essential information.
Since this is a technical institute, let’s explain this in technical terms:
These kind of emails and notifications are like D-DoS attacks in the inboxes, they result in users’ ignorance of any such future emails, as well as prevents user from noticing an important mails.
Hence, in our opinion as well as opinion of the students of IIITD, this project holds great importance.
