This application is a calculator of the number of straps allowing securing a loading of goods according to the standard EN 12195-1

Prescriptions:

This application is a complementary tool for attached training. It calculates the number of straps to secure a commodity only according to the so -called "strength juice" technique (by friction), and in compliance with the following conditions:

- The goods are homogeneous, that is to say that the center of gravity is considered at the center of the goods,

- The tension of the ratchet (STF) is that indicated on the label of the strap.

- The materials in contact induce a coefficient of friction. In the event that materials is not listed, it is up to you to search for the corresponding coefficient.

Good stowage is linked to compliance with several conditions and factors. Consequently, the result obtained by means of this application cannot, in any case, be used for repressive purposes or in a legal framework.
